Believing that it is lucky to find a penny heads up on the ground is a common superstition. However, what if you believed it to mean so much more. If you pick up a penny that is heads up you will notice it is inscribed with the words "In God We Trust". While this is found on every United States coin, if you trust in God, then it is holy. So every time you see a penny on the ground, let this be a message from God, telling you to trust Him. At that moment, stop and pray. Ask yourself if your trust IS in God. Pick the penny up as a response to God that you DO trust Him. Cherish the coin. It is one more way He is trying to gain a relationship with you. Lucky for you, God is patient and pennies are plentiful!
